Let's get your water turned on!

 

Overview

New utility service can be applied online at Selfservice.lawtonok.gov/css or in-person at 212 SW 9th Street in Lawton. Application for service requires the following:

  1. Valid lease, rental agreement or purchase papers to show authorization to occupy the property.
  2. Valid picture I.D. such as a driver’s license or military I.D.
  3. Verification of social security number such as social security card or other official document showing the entire number

Security deposit (Note: Security deposits are based on the average consumption at the property. The minimum deposit is $150 and can be larger based on the consumption. Call our customer service representatives at (580) 581-3308 to get a deposit quote.)

 

Need to Know

New accounts will be provided with same day service if established by 4 p.m. Any new service established after 4 p.m. will be provided the next business day. All service is turned on in the afternoon between the hours of 1 and 5 p.m.

 

For water to be turned on an adult must be present at the property and communicate such presence to the service person coming to the property. If no one is on site, any lock will be removed, and the customer can turn on the meter when later arriving at the property.

 

Minimum Bill

The City of Lawton has a minimum bill for any active account. This minimum bill includes water/sewer service up to 2,000 gallons and a weekly trash service. A minimum bill is currently $83.81. This bill will increase depending on the amount of water above 2,000 gallons used during the billing month.
