The mosquito control map displays areas of the city where it is being treated currently, next or has been completed.

Lawton Mosquito Control

Drainage Maintenance periodically sprays to kill adult mosquitoes in areas with high mosquito counts in area parks and neighborhoods using low toxicity chemicals. Since June 28, 2023, the City of Lawton is using Perm-X UL 4-4. It is the Adulticide the City of Lawton is using in our Ultra Low Volume (ULV) Foggers to help control adult mosquitoes. Perm-X UL 4-4 is approved by both the Environmental Protection Agency and the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry for the control of insect pest.

Monday - Friday mornings from 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. are scheduled for spraying barring high winds or inclement weather. The process will begin May and last through September. For questions, contact the City of Lawton’s Drainage Maintenance Division at (580) 581-3424
