City Planning Commission (CPC) The City Planning Commission hears requests relating to zoning, platting and the subdivision of land.  They meet twice a month on the Thursday following a council meeting, typically the second and fourth Thursday of the month, at 1:30pm in the Wayne Gilley Auditorium of City Hall.

Lawton Urban Renewal Authority (LURA) The Lawton Urban Renewal Authority hears requests related to development within an urban renewal plan area.  They meet once a month on the third Tuesday of the month at 1:30pm in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of City Hall.

Downtown Lawton Architectural Review Committee (DLARC) The Downtown Lawton Architectural Review Committee reviews development plans for compliance with the architectural standards within the downtown overlay district.  They meet as needed at 1:30pm in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of City Hall.

Board of Adjustments (BOA) The Board of Adjustment hears variance and special exception requests.  They meet on the second Friday of the month at 9:00am in the Wayne Gilley Auditorium of City Hall.

Building Material Review Committee (BMRC) The Building Material Review Committee hears appeals related to architectural design and material standards for buildings, accessory buildings and fences.  They meet as needed in the 2nd Floor Conference Room of City Hall.

Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization (LMPO) The Lawton Metropolitan Planning Organization manages the Metropolitan Transportation Plan which guides future transportation improvement projects.  The Technical Committee is the advisory board for the Policy Board, which governs transportation activities.  The Technical Committee meets on the first Tuesday of the month at 10:00am and the Policy Board meets at 11:00am on the third Tuesday of the month.  Both meetings are held in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of City Hall.
