About Us
City of Lawton Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a volunteer program for adults aged 65 and older. City of Lawton RSVP works together with qualified agencies and organizations to involve people 65 and older with volunteering their services to meet the community's needs and provide a gratifying experience that will enrich the lives of our volunteers.
Volunteers can choose their special place(s) to give back to the community. Check out the Volunteer Stations link above to view all of our current program partners. Volunteers will be provided an orientation, appropriate training and resources for their assignments.
City of Lawton Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) appreciates all our volunteers and their willingness to give back to the community. Newsletters are sent out by mail, email and posted on this website to keep you up to date on past and future events. We host an annual volunteer recognition banquet in August featuring a delicious meal and entertainment to recognize our volunteers for their service and accomplishments.
City of Lawton RSVP receives its identity from and is partially funded by a grant awarded to City of Lawton by AmeriCorp Seniors/Corporation for National and Community Service.
