As part of our ongoing efforts to enhance and streamline services, the City of Lawton will conduct routine server maintenance on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, 2024. During this maintenance, several City departments will experience temporary changes in their payment methods and the application portal will be unavailable.
During this time, the following departments will be unable to accept card payments and will only accept cash or checks:
- Building Division (License & Permits)
- Neighborhood Services
- Police Records
- Lawton Landfill
For license & permitting, we encourage citizens who would like to pay by card to pay for licenses/permits by Thursday, November 7, if that is all that is needed for completion.
Lawton Animal Welfare will accept cash only during this time, but as always, there is a functioning ATM machine in the lobby of the Animal Welfare building.
Lakes services will also be cash only. For those who need permits, visit the Lake Headquarters at 23510 State Highway 58 for paper permits for hunting/fishing/boating permits. Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Utility Services will still be accepting card payments, as they are on a different system. The only online services that will remain available during the maintenance is Court and Utility Services.
Court operations will not be affected by the maintenance and will continue as usual.
This scheduled maintenance is aimed at improving internal processes and enhancing customer service efficiency. We expect all systems, including card payments, to return to normal by Monday, November 11, 2024.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve our services.
