Native American Obituary Index

This index is a listing of primarily Comanche, Kiowa, Apache, and Fort Sill Apache obituaries with some Caddo/Wichita and Cheyenne/Arapaho obituaries included. The index is early 1900s to 2022. It is not a complete list.

World War II Index

This index is a listing of 8,168 items in the Lawton Constitution of men and women in the military with connections to Comanche County, excluding Ft. Sill, during World War II. The dates are December 8, 1941, to August 31, 1946. These items can include name, rank, branch of service, unit, promotions, decorations, where stationed, previous duty stations, home address, spouse, parents, siblings in service, previous occupation, wounded, missing in action, deaths, discharges and photos.
